I am a journalist and writer who takes the latest studies and trends in health and medicine and breaks them down into digestible, narrative-driven pieces. A member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), my journalism appears in The Atlantic, WIRED, ELLE, SELF, Men's Journal, espnW, Runner's World and more. My clients have included Forbes Health, Nike, Studio/B by The Boston Globe, and AP Content Services. I have also served as a contributing editor for publications such as Women's Running and LAVA Magazine.
My favorite things to write involve helping others discover something about themselves. I am a born problem-solver and my tendency to overanalyze and organize are some of the traits that make me the best at what I do.
If you're an editor or brand looking for someone with an intimate knowledge of the publishing industry (I've done it all!) to help you craft articles and content that gives your audience the tools to become the best versions of themselves, I'd love to chat.

I know I can always count on Ashley to deliver clean, well-researched, engaging copy that's on time. She's easy to work with and responsive to edits. Plus, her knowledge of and experience in the fitness world (specifically running) is a huge asset.
I edit between 15 and 20 health stories a week, and there's nothing more valuable to me than a writer who consistently turns in clean, accurate, well-researched, and well-sourced copy—and that's Ashley. But her articles are also incredibly fun to read, as they're so well-written and well thought-out. I wish she had time to write every single story I need to assign, because she's just that good!
